You are invited to participate in a research project examining if different note taking methods have an impact on grades received on a test in which those notes were to be studied. You will be asked to fill out an online questionnaire which will assess note taking method on grades received on your best and one of your lowest tests in which you were required to study the notes taken. Your participation in this study is completely anonymous and voluntary: you may withdraw at any time without penalty. This study is being conucted as part of a course requirement for the Research Design and Analysis course (PSYC 2023).
All information is strictly confidential; names are not required as to keep anonymity. The only identifying information associated with your responses in the questionnaire is your gender and age. This information will be deleted if it may enable an individual to be identified. All responses wil be analyzed as a group and all data will be presented in summary form; no individual data will ever be present.
The questionnaire will take a maximum of 5-10 minutes to complete. There are no known harms from the completion of this study. There are no direct benefit to you in terms of the research results; however, your participation will contribute to a dataset that will be further used in our understanding of these variables.
